2018-0903 : Update
These tools are deprecated upon release of NOAA Atlas 14 in September 2018.
Revised tool(s) are being developed by the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) at Texas A&M University.
2016-0714 : Update -- The EBDLKUP-2015.xlsx sheet had a error because of a failed lexiographic sort.
The error impacted several counties; the impacted districts have been notified
and a corrected spreadsheet was prepared.
The corrected spreadsheet is named EBDLKUP-2015v2.1.xlsx.
Prior sheets (EBDLKUP-2015.xlsx) should be destroyed.
2016-0427 : Welcome -- The tools here are exact replicas of the tools distributed by TxDOT (users should obtain the tools directly from TxDOT and they are provided here only as a back-up)
DESCRIPTION:
EBDLKLUP-2015 is the result of research to update the existing Texas EBD values used in rainfall intensity estimation.
The revised tools incorporate additional data not available since the last update (circa 1985).
The tools are provided as an interim tool until NOAA Atlas 14 is eventually extended to include Texas.
Once the NOAA values are available, hydrologists should use the federal tools (and update the EBD tool if desired).
TXHYETO-2015 is a companion tool to simplify generation of hyetographs for HEC-HMS modeling is included.

EBDLKUP-2015 The EBDLKUP-2015 spreadheet. The spreadsheet is locked (protected) to prevent accidental changing of the database. The database is "hidden", but is included in the spreadsheet. File extension is XLSX. The File does NOT use Macros.
