3372. Water Systems Design (3:3:0). Prerequisite: CE 3305, 3354. Hydraulic analysis and design of municipal water distribution, stormwater collection, and wastewater collection systems. Oral and written presentations. (Communication Intensive)

Pump and System Curves, Net Positive Suction Head

Review of pump types. Pump curves as supplied for centrifugal, mixed, and axial-flow pumps. System curves for hydraulic networks. Net positive suction head considerations. Pump power. On-Line and spreadsheet tools.
